Lion King broadway cast gives impromptu concert on Virgin flight

The in-flight entertainment was better than the safety video for passengers on Virgin Flight 0970 from Brisbane to Sydney last week as the Australian broadway cast of The Lion King performed a seated version of the production’s classic song, “Circle of Life” as the plane was preparing for take-off. En route from a promotional appearance in Brisbane, Australia, the chorus of eight belted out an a cappella version of the show’s opening number in perfect harmony. Needless to say, the passengers seemed to enjoy it!
